Welcome to the ministries section of our church.
We believe that here you will find not only a place that will meet your needs, but also a place that you will be able to meet the needs of others as you find your place in the body of Christ at The Family Worship Centre.
We believe that through the Bible and a relationship with God, He has given us all that we need for life and Godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
We would love to introduce and welcome you as part of this abundant and fulfilling lifestyle.
Women’s
The Women’s Ministry of our church are called “Daughters”, signifying the belief that they are Daughters of the Living God. This ministry is established to reach out to the women of Whyalla and beyond with the message and love of Jesus Christ. Throughout the year there will be Daughter’s events as well as some breakfasts and bible study groups.
Men’s
The Men of the Family Worship Centre meet each month for a Men's Breakfast.
We believe that God has placed an important mandate on men and encourage them to take up this call and follow Jesus wholeheartedly and passionately.
Our men meet weekly for an in depth time of sharing and studying the Word of God to assist each other in their walk, their relationships and the growth of their relationship with Christ.
Throughout the year other significant events are organised to strengthen unity, build faith and provide opportunities for adventure.
Hour of Power
Join with us each Tuesday night at 7.30pm for one hour of dedicated prayer for specific healing and God's power to move throughout our city and our homes. Prayer is the power house of the church and Jesus said that His house would be a house of prayer.
Our desire is that as a church we would join together in heart and spirit to believe for the needs of our church and our community.

Mission - Kingdom
We have a great passion to impact lives beyond the four walls of our church and help people discover the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. We are connected to ministries in the Western Region of South Australia, Our State and the nations of the world including Cambodia, The Philippines, India, Uganda and many other nations. Our heart for Mission is to “Impact people across the street and across the World”. Throughout the year we will host people involved in ministry beyond Whyalla and will be supporting them with both finances and prayer. Our heart is also to take some short term missions teams to visit these people and offer some spiritual and practical support as well.
Young Adults
We have a vibrant group of young adults between the ages of 18 – 35 who meet regularly to connect with God’s Word, sharing their stories and sharing some great food. These young adult gatherings are great times of building great relationships with God and people that are vital at their stage of life. For more information contact the church office on 08 8645 5178.
Connect Groups
Relationship is one of the greatest ways that people grow.
The Family Worship Centre believe connecting people in life groups is not an optional sub-ministry of the Church – it is essential for growth.
Connect Groups aim to bring together good bible-based teaching, as well as vibrant and life giving relationships to see lives changed for God.
Connect Groups cater for all types of people groups and needs and we would like to welcome you to join one of our Connect Groups and see your life transformed.
Amplified 4:12 Youth Ministry
Peter Kaminski - Amplified 4:12 Leader Amplified 4:12 - more than just a group!
Amplified 4:12 seek to encourage young people in life - in their walk with God and in the growth as young people in our world.
Amplified 4:12 do a variety of activities and learn skills for life - like water skiing, first aid, hiking and other fabulous things!
Peter Kaminski leads Amplified 4:12 and has a passion to see young people find themselves whole in God and living lives that are fulfilling and fun.

Kingdom Kids
Children are an integral part of our church family.
Our Children’s Ministry, called “Kingdom Kids” ministers to children from 3 years old to grade 7. This ministry operates every Sunday morning during our Worship service. We have a great team of trained and dedicated leaders who have a passion to see your children develop a growing relationship with Jesus. Our children always look forward to their Sunday activities that are held in Kids Place (the portable room at the back of the church) where they enjoy great fun, great food and great adventures discovering God’s plan for their lives.
Kid's Place Leaders
The children participate in games and activities that teach them the Word of God, how to apply it to their lives, how to have fun and share with other children!

Creative Ministries
At the Family Worship Centre, we believe that a lifestyle that worships God is the most effective way to live.
Our Creative Ministries Team includes Worship, Multimedia and Graphic Design.
We know that you will be blessed as you join with us to seek the heart of God through praise and worship.
The creative ministries team meet on Thursdays at 7pm to prepare for the weekend services.
Here they learn about the incredible privilege it is to be able to not only worship Jesus Christ, but also lead His people in true worship.
Our heart is that we would be a blessing to God by having our Spirit connect with His Spirit, lifting up His Name and being careful always to give all our praise to Him.
