We believe that through the Bible and a relationship with God, He has given us all that we need for life and Godliness (2 Peter 1:3).

Bible College

Our aim as a church is to raise up men and women of God who are well versed in the Word of God, knowing how to effectively apply the principles of God to their every day lives.

We endeavour to do this by providing quality accredited Bible College courses affiliated with Alpha Crucis College, formerly Southern Cross Bible College.

Volunteers

The Family Worship Centre knows the value of following Jesus and being obedient to His call.

The Volunteers in our church cover a range of different ministries and we greatly appreciate all that they do in order for the church to flow successfully.Volunteers include our leaders, our deacons, our musicians, singers and technicians, new Christian workers, our café workers, our administration staff and many others in the church.

Men’s Industries

Great Men of GodGreat Men of God The Men of the Family Worship Centre meet each month for a Men's Breakfast.

We believe that God has placed an important mandate on men and encourage them to take up this call and follow Jesus wholeheartedly and passionately.

Our men meet weekly for an in depth time of sharing and studying the Word of God to assist each other in their walk, their relationships and the growth of their relationship with Christ.

Throughout the year other significant events are organised to strengthen unity, build faith and provide opportunities for adventure.

Prayer

Join with us each Tuesday night at 7.30pm for one hour of dedicated prayer for specific healing and God's power to move throughout our city and our homes. Prayer is the power house of the church and Jesus said that His house would be a house of prayer.

Our desire is that as a church we would join together in heart and spirit to believe for the needs of our church and our community.

We serve a good and loving God!

Young Adults

Mwansa, our Young Adults LeaderMwansa, our Young Adults Leader Various fun and encouraging events are organised on a regular basis for young people aged 18 to 30. Building faith, friendships and a knowledge of God's Word is the focus of the young adults' ministry.

Various speakers are invited to share at the events which are usually held at one of the local cafés. Young adults are also encouraged to assist in both the Kid's Place and in Youth Team as role models and faith motivators.

Mwansa (right) is our Young Adults leader and has a passion to inspire and build the faith of young people. Mwansa leads the Young Adults each Wednesday night at church from 7.30pm.

Women’s Industries

The Women of the Family Worship Centre meet together for different events throughout the year.

Special Ladies Only nights are organised with visiting speakers investing into the lives of our women to build their faith, their character, and their esteem as beautiful, valued and integral in God's Kingdom and the life of the church.

Our women meet often in various social settings to meet each other's needs and to inspire each other to know Christ in a deeper, more intimate way that they may live passionate and fulfilled lives.

Mrs Lorraine Evans... Mrs Evans spoke at our first Ladies Night on the 13th of May. We were deeply impacted by her word on Proverbs 31 and the revelation that it's not what we do, but rather our character and our attitude that define us.

Synergy Life Groups

Synergy is the interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual.

We at Family Worship Centre believe connecting people in life groups is not an optional sub-ministry of the Church – it is essential for growth.

Synergy life groups aim to bring together good bible-based teaching, as well as vibrant and life giving relationships to see lives changed for God.

The sum effect being a generation of believers empowered by the Holy Spirit to change and influence this city, this nation and the nations of the world one life at a time.

Mission - Kingdom

The Family Worship Centre believes in and supports the work of many missionaries and mission based organisations.

It also provides sponsorship for children in Brazil, Indonesia, Haiti and India. These children are able to go to school and be supported in their community through our generosity. Our mission program also supports World Missions and World Vision.

Our latest Mission project is Lavender for Missions. Lavender for MissionsLavender for Missions You can purchase lavender plants for $5.00 each with all proceeds going toward missions.

Amplified 4:12 Youth Ministry

Peter Kaminski - Amplified 4:12 LeaderPeter Kaminski - Amplified 4:12 Leader Amplified 4:12 - more than just a group!

Amplified 4:12 seek to encourage young people in life - in their walk with God and in the growth as young people in our world.

Amplified 4:12 do a variety of activities and learn skills for life - like water skiing, first aid, hiking and other fabulous things!

Peter Kaminski leads Amplified 4:12 and has a passion to see young people find themselves whole in God and living lives that are fulfilling and fun.

The Kid’s Place

Children are an integral part of our church family.

Each Sunday morning after the worship in the main church has concluded the children are encouraged to join in the exciting and faith building program that is offered.

Our leaders have been working in Children’s Ministry for over 20 years and have a passion and desire to see children grow in their faith to become strong and active members of the Body of Christ.

Kid's Place Leaders

The children participate in games and activities that teach them the Word of God, how to apply it to their lives, how to have fun and share with other children!

Pretty Girls

God made all girls pretty!
Pretty Girls is designed for girls in Grade 4 - Grade 7. Pretty Girls is about teaching young girls that they are absolutely beautiful both inside and outside simply because they are created by God. At Pretty Girls the girls are encouraged to have fun, be creative and be encouraged to know and love God as their Saviour and Creator.
Pretty Girls meet each Thursday from 4:30 - 5:30 in Cafe Connect. If you would like more information, please contact Kylie.

Creative Ministries

At the Family Worship Centre, we believe that a lifestyle that worships God is the most effective way to live.

Our Creative Ministries Team includes Worship, Multimedia and Aesthetics.

We know that you will be blessed as you join with us to seek the heart of God through praise and worship.

The Worship team meet on Thursdays to prepare for the weekend services.

Here they learn about the incredible privilege it is to be able to not only worship Jesus Christ, but also lead His people in true worship.

Our heart is that we would be a blessing to God by having our Spirit connect with His Spirit, lifting up His Name and being careful always to give all our praise to Him.
